Illia Omelianchuk

Illia Omelianchuk has a diverse work experience in the field of Linux engineering and system administration. Illia currently works as a Linux Engineer at BICS since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at TietoEVRY and Infopulse starting from April 2019. Before transitioning to Linux engineering, Illia worked as a System Administrator at EKO-MARKET, a national retail company, from June 2014 to April 2019. Illia also worked as a System Administrator at NOKs fishes from February 2012 to April 2014. Illia began their career as an Engineer at Ukrtelecom in July 2003. Illia'sresponsibilities there included the installation, configuration, and optimization of Linux/FreeBSD servers, as well as various other technical tasks related to networking, virtualization, and technical support.

Illia Omelianchuk completed their education in a chronological order. In 1994, they attended Gorlovka Machine-Building College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Economics. From 1997 to 2002, they studied at the Automobile and Highway Institute of Donetsk National Technical University, earning a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management. Following this, they pursued further education at Donetsk National Technical University from 2002 to 2004, completing a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
