Isabel Cancela

Isabel Cancela has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Isabel started their career in 2001 at KDDI as the Director of Marketing & Wholesale Sales. In 2006, they joined BICS (previously known as Belgacom International Carrier Services) as the Director of Carrier Services/Mobile Business Manager, where they were responsible for global account management and business development for carrier services in the Caribbean and LATAM regions. Isabel successfully drove profitable growth for Voice and Mobility services through creative marketing and sales strategies. In 2016, Isabel became Senior Key Account Manager at BICS, where they managed top strategic accounts throughout the Caribbean and Latin America regions. Isabel established partnerships with mobile network operators, negotiated volume commitments, and forecasted sales for various services, including mobile connectivity, roaming, clearing, and fraud prevention/authentication. Isabel's role also involved sales management for A2P enterprise and Cloud Communication Global Customers. Isabel currently holds the position of Senior Key Account Manager Messaging, Roaming, and Partnerships.

Isabel Cancela completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree specializing in International Business/Trade/Commerce at the Florida International University - College of Business. Isabel attended from 1994 to 1997.
