James Gachie

James Gachie serves as the Account Director for the Middle East and Africa at BICS, managing key customer relationships across IoT, Travel Sim, Cloud Numbers, SIP-T, and A2P services. Prior to joining BICS in October 2023, James held various leadership roles at Infobip from August 2016 to October 2023, including Industry Lead for Telcos, Retail, and E-commerce in Africa, where responsibility encompassed a €50M ARR line of business. Additional positions included Partnerships Development Manager for East and West Africa, Strategic Account Manager for East Africa, and Senior Enterprise Account Manager focused on Banking, Financial Services, and Telcos. James started the career at Cisco, rising through the ranks from Sales Associate to Virtual Sales Account Manager. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Cape Town, an Honors degree in Business Administration from Ivey Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University.
