Tongwei Zhao

Tongwei Zhao is a Senior Regional Technical Manager at BICS since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in solution architecture from previous roles at Ericsson from July 2011 to June 2022. At Ericsson, Tongwei led end-to-end solutions for IMS Core in the Spark NZ CCN evolution program and managed system integration for multi-vendor transitions. Tongwei also developed commercially viable technical solutions by aligning customer needs with technology opportunities. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Auckland University of Technology (2016-2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (2007-2011).
