Director, Information Technology at BICSI

Christopher Muratore is the current Director of Information Technology at BICSI. Prior to their current position, Muratore served as the Director of Information Technology Operations at MHK from January 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they led a team that delivered 99.999% availability for 24X7X365 operations to MHK's cloud based environments, supporting all SaaS clients. Under their leadership, customer satisfaction significantly improved, with steadily increasing month over month system availability and stability, and a drastic reduction in high severity events by 81.75%.

Before their time at MHK, Muratore served as Vice President of Information Technology at ION Media Networks from August 2012 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's technology strategy and initiatives, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the IT department. Christopher also oversaw the development and implementation of Ion Media's first comprehensive disaster recovery plan.

Muratore has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Christopher Muratore has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the City University of New York, an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from the City University of New York, and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from the City University of New York. Christopher also has a Certificate in Cloud Computing from Cloud University and is a Practitioner 2 Certified in Professional Crisis Management from PCMA.
