John H. Daniels

John H. Daniels is the current CEO at BICSI. Prior to their current position, John held various other leadership roles in the healthcare industry.

Most notably, John served as the Global Vice President for Healthcare Advisory Services at HIMSS Analytics from July 2015 to December 2019. In this role, John was responsible for providing expert consulting and research services to help healthcare organizations worldwide improve their clinical, financial, and operational performance.

Before joining HIMSS Analytics, John served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Evolvent from July 2007 to July 2010. In this role, John was responsible for leading Evolvent's information technology strategy and initiatives.

John has also served in various other leadership roles, including Chair of the US Air Force Medical Information Services Working Group (MISWG) from January 2006 to December 2007 and Vice Chair of HIMSS Air Force CIO Special Interest Group from January 2005 to December 2006.

John holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Pfeiffer University and is a certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Daniels has a MSA from Central Michigan University in Health Services Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from American Public University System, a BS in Computer Science from West Texas A&M University, and an AAS in Allied Health Sciences from Community College of the Air Force. John is certified in GDPR Compliance: Essential Training from Lynda.com, CPHIMS – Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems from HIMSS – Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, CHE - Certified Healthcare Executive from ACHE - American College of Healthcare Executives, and CHPS - Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security from AHIMA - American Health Information Management Association.
