Scott Lauzé M.D.

Scott Lauzé MD is a board-certified psychiatrist based in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco, with an extensive background in psychiatric practice and leadership roles in various organizations. Currently, Scott serves as the President, CEO, and Co-Founder of the San Francisco Mindfulness Foundation, a non-profit that offers mindfulness-based therapeutic programs. In addition, Scott operates a private practice and is the Medical Director of Scott Lauzé MD, Inc., focusing on addressing opioid addiction through telemedicine. Previous leadership experience includes serving as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at the Sidney Borum Jr. Health Center and the Assistant Medical Director for the HIV Psychiatry Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Scott's educational background includes an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and a residency in Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Hospital-Harvard University Residency Program, complemented by a BA in Psychobiology and Biochemistry from Bowdoin College.
