Gabriela Ivanova-Berndt

Gabriela Ivanova-Berndt is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in chemistry and biophysics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Bicycle Therapeutics since December 2017, Gabriela previously held the position of Specialist Scientist at Isogenica Limited from September 2008 to November 2017, in addition to being a Research Scientist. Gabriela's early career includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK, and at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. Gabriela began their academic journey as a PhD student at the Laboratory of Biocatalysis at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and holds a PhD from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Organic Chemistry, as well as an MS in Organic and Analytical Chemistry from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
