Inma Rioja

Inma Rioja's work experience includes a recent role as Senior Vice President of Biology at Bicycle Therapeutics, where they focus on leading the Biology Unit and driving the company's portfolio of oncology programs. Prior to that, they held various positions at GSK, including Head of Immuno-Epigenetics, Senior Director of Biology, and Head of C3 DPU. Inma has extensive experience in leadership, team management, and the development of pre-clinical biology strategies. Inma also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at INSERM, where they managed a research project focused on inflammatory mechanisms in renal transplantation. Inma began their career as a Research Scientist at GSK, specializing in rheumatoid arthritis and gene expression profiles.

Inma Rioja earned a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Valencia, completing their studies from 1998 to 2002. Prior to their doctoral degree, they obtained a Degree in Pharmacy from the same university, taking courses from 1992 to 1997. Inma Rioja also holds a certification in "Embracing Unexpected Change" obtained in January 2020 from LinkedIn.
