Sean Santos

Sean Santos is a Senior Translational Data Scientist at Bicycle Therapeutics, where work began in March 2020, following a role as Translational Data Scientist. Prior to this, Sean held positions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from June 2013 to March 2020, serving as a Bioinformatics Research Consultant and Graduate Research Associate, with a dissertation focused on the integration of yeast phenomics and cancer pharmacogenomics to model precision medicine. Additionally, Sean gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Centre Léon Bérard in 2012. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics, Genomics, and Bioinformatics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
