Paul Kreiner

Paul Kreiner has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Paul started their career as a Contract Technical Support Agent at Manpower Technical in 1996. Paul then moved on to Hewlett-Packard, Inc. in 1998 where they worked as a Hardware Support Technician, specializing in supporting DesignJet brand plotters. In 1999, they joined CRI Advantage, Inc. as a Consulting Network and Systems Engineer, where they were involved in software design and development, network engineering, and LAN maintenance.

In 2007, Paul became a Partner and Chief Technical Officer at Novel Projects, Inc., before taking on the role of Network Engineer at Banner Bank. In 2011, they joined TSheets as an Infrastructure Engineer, primarily focusing on MySQL and AWS Aurora database administration. Paul later joined Intuit in 2018 as a Staff System Engineer, where they played a key role in migrating the stack to AWS and advising on MySQL-related issues.

Currently, Paul is working at Bid Box Pro as the Infrastructure and Operations Lead, responsible for developing a reliable and highly-available warranty management platform. Paul also has a background in full-stack development, but their emphasis is on building a platform that performs well and can be accessed 24/7 to service claims.

Paul Kreiner completed their education at Northwest Nazarene University from 1996 to 1999, where they studied Engineering Physics. Afterwards, they attended Boise State University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Paul continued their education at Boise State University, earning a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2007.
