Diego Braido has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Diego started their career as a Research Engineer Intern at CMI Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie in 2009 and then moved on to work as a Research Engineer Intern at AgroParisTech - Laboratoire d'étude et de recherche sur le matériau bois – LERMAB in the same year. In 2012, Diego joined the Biomaterials laboratory of the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue as a Research Engineer Intern.

Diego's most recent and prominent position was at BID Group, where they held multiple roles. Diego initially worked as a Process Engineer|R&D Process Engineer from June 2014 to October 2022. In this role, they successfully managed and oversaw multiple optimization system projects and R&D initiatives, resulting in significant business improvements and revenue enhancements. Diego's contributions led to a 20% reduction in project completion time and approximately $15-20 million in annual revenue.

At BID Group, Diego also served as the Director of Applied Artificial Intelligence starting in October 2022. In this strategic role, they aligned the company's strategic vision with AI project development to drive business growth. Diego oversaw the full development lifecycle of an innovative AI product as its Product Owner and collaborated with management to define AI-related business strategies for efficient project execution.

Diego's work experience demonstrates their expertise in project management, leadership, team development, process optimization, revenue enhancement, and efficiency improvement.

Diego Braido F.Eng., M.Sc, PMP, E-MBA Candidate has a diverse education history. Diego obtained their Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" in 2012. In 2014, Diego completed their Master's degree in Biology/Wood Sciences from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Diego has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations, Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques, Blockchain Basics, Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), and Scrum: The Basics, all from LinkedIn. Additionally, in 2022, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Currently, Diego is a candidate for an Executive MBA from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), with an expected completion date in 2024.

It is worth noting that in 2009-2010, Diego participated in a one-year program at AgroParisTech as part of their Forest Engineer degree.
