Raied Idan

Raied Idan has over 20 years of work experience. Raied started their career as a Database Administrator at Electronic Data Systems in 1997. Raied then moved on to Market Advantage as a Database Administrator in 2000. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Database Administrator consultant at PSD Solutions. In 2004, they joined Insurance Auto Auctions as Director of Infrastructure. In this role, they were responsible for the availability of infrastructure within multiple datacenters 24X7, technology disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, system security, centralized system monitoring and alerting, remote site infrastructure, and managing and maintaining operational and capital budgets and forecasts. Raied also held the roles of Program Manager, Data Architect, DBA Team Lead, and Senior Database Administrator at Insurance Auto Auctions. Since 2011, they have been the Director of Data Services at BidClerk.

Raied Idan completed a CCCP in Information Technology at DePaul University in 1997. Raied then obtained a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Northeastern Illinois University between 1993 and 1995. Raied also holds two Bachelor's degrees from the University of Baghdad in Soil Science and Agronomy, General and Soil Chemistry. Additionally, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator - MCDBA from Microsoft in 2001, as well as a Microsoft Certified Professional - MCP from Microsoft in the same year.
