Dennis D. Truax

Dennis D. Truax serves as the Chief Information Officer and Co-Founder of Bidcurement, beginning in January 2025, where the focus is on leveraging AI applications to enhance client success by addressing problem delineation, optimizing solutions, and minimizing costs. Previously, Dennis held leadership positions at the American Society of Civil Engineers, serving as President in 2022 and President-Elect in 2021. From May 2006 to May 2021, Dennis was the J.T. White Endowed Chair, Director, and Professor at the R.A. Rula School of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Mississippi State University. Educational credentials include a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering from Mississippi State University, a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
