Nick Pearson has several years of work experience in the software development industry. Nick started their career as a Placement Programmer at Sumo Digital Ltd in June 2016, where they contributed gameplay features for the Dead Island 2 project and made changes to the Unreal Engine source code. Nick'scontract was extended after a successful first year. In 2018, they worked as a Contract Programmer at Mission Ctrl Studios from February to June. Later in 2018, they interned at the University of Bristol as part of the Big Hex Internship program, where they maintained and improved a 16-bit CPU used for teaching computer architecture and developed new debugging tools. Since July 2019, Nick has been working at BidFX, first as a Graduate Developer and currently as a Senior Backend Developer. The end date for their current role is not specified.
From 2014 to 2019, Nick Pearson attended the University of Bristol, where they completed their Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
