Mark Beddis has extensive experience in the trading and consulting sectors, spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Strategic Adviser at BIDS Trading since April 2006, Mark was involved in the design and launch of the BIDS Trading platform, focusing on business strategy, product innovation, and user optimization. Prior to this role, Mark was a Business Consultant at Alberta Market Solutions from January 2003 to April 2006, engaging in consulting projects for notable clients in the securities and derivatives industry. Mark also held a consulting position at Beddis Ltd. from February 1998 to January 2003, advising on market structure and product design. Earlier in Mark's career, experience includes being Executive Director of the Traded Options Division at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited from October 1992 to February 1998 and Director of Operations at Philipp and Lion Far East Ltd. from November 1989 to July 1991. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Liverpool, awarded in 1977.
