Kathy McDermott

Kathy McDermott FCA, CTA is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Ireland at Bidvest Noonan since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kathy held various positions at Currys plc from October 2014 to June 2021, including Head of Finance for both the UK (B2B, Travel) and Ireland, as well as Financial Controller and Finance Manager. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Commercial Accountant at ION Trading, Financial & Management Accountant at Delaware North Companies Australia & New Zealand, and Tax Senior at KPMG Ireland. Kathy's educational background includes an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Chartered Tax Adviser qualification, a Master's in Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University.
