Priya Gokhale has been working in the food industry since 2011. Priya began their career as a Graduate Intern at Kraft Foods, where they assisted in designing a quality system for the inspection of incoming raw materials, inspected and followed up on rejected packaging materials, and investigated, responded and followed up on customer complaints. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at RMIT University and a Quality Assurance Technical Assistant at One Harvest, where they worked directly with the Quality Assurance manager and production supervisors to resolve food quality and safety issues, actively participated in BRC and WQA external audits, conducted internal audits, and implemented and conducted regular training programs for the factory personnel. In 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. Since 2016, they have been employed at Chew, where they have held the roles of Project Lead/ Scientist I, Associate Scientist, and Product Developer. In 2020, they joined Biena Snacks as Senior R&D and Operations Manager and Product Development & Quality Manager.
Priya Gokhale's education history includes a Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University (2015-2016), a Master's Degree in Biotechnology (Food Science Technology) from RMIT University (2010-2011), a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Abasaheb Garware College (2007-2009), and a pre-university education from Abhinava Vidyalaya (1991-2004).
