Biennale of Sydney
Alicia Hollier is an experienced professional in the art and design sector, currently serving as the Exhibitions Coordinator at the Biennale of Sydney since June 2023. Prior to this role, Alicia worked with artisan as a Project Manager from February to May 2023, overseeing their inaugural presence at the Melbourne Design Fair 2023. Alicia's background includes various positions at Onespace, where responsibilities included Manager, Gallery Manager, and Gallery Officer from July 2018 to May 2023. Alicia also contributed as a Project Officer and Intern at CREATIVEMOVE PTY LTD from December 2016 to November 2022 and volunteered at the Biennale of Sydney in 2018. Further experience includes teaching art classes as an Art Teacher for Artist Wendy from February 2015 to April 2018. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Griffith University and a Higher National Diploma in Events Management from Torrens University Australia.

The 24th Biennale of Sydney takes place 9 March – 10 June 2024. The inaugural Biennale of Sydney was held in 1973 as part of the opening celebrations of the Sydney Opera House. Initiated by Founding Governor Franco Belgiorno-Nettis and supported by Founding Patrons Transfield Holdings, the Biennale of Sydney was the first exhibition of its kind to be established in the Asia-Pacific region. Alongside the Venice and São Paulo biennales and documenta, it is one of the longest running periodic exhibitions around the globe. Since its inception in 1973, the Biennale of Sydney has showcased the work of nearly 1,800 artists from more than 100 countries and holds an important place on both the national and international stage.
