Executive Director at Biennial of the Americas

FloraJane DiRienzo is the Executive Director of the Biennial of the Americas (The Biennial). With a background in community engagement, audience diversification and meaningful partnership development, FloraJane’s leadership role at the Biennial emphasizes building city-to-city relationships, promoting rising leaders and artists, creating educational learning opportunities and embracing diverse cultures.

She previously worked for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA), Whole Foods Market and The Wildlife Experience where she gained experience in building community engagement through events and strategic partnerships that expanded audiences and created inclusive spaces for all.

FloraJane graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She currently serves on the Denver Commission on Cultural Affairs, Vice-Chair for Levitt Pavilion Denver and on the Board of Directors for Civic Center Conservancy. On weekends you can find FloraJane with her family exploring Colorado, New Mexico, and beyond, skiing, paddle boarding, hiking and enjoying other outdoor activities. They frequent music and cultural events and love long park days and city adventures.
