Francis Armstrong

Francis Armstrong is an experienced leader in the waste management and transport sectors, currently serving as the Commercial Director for Specialist Services at Biffa since October 2014. In this role, Francis oversees commercial operations for Integrated Resource Management and Hazardous Waste business units. Previously, Francis held the position of Regional General Manager for the Midlands at Biffa, managing a network of 12 transport and materials recycling facilities, while also handling operational, commercial control, and business development. Prior experience includes leadership roles in various capacities at DHL Freight and Christian Salvesen, covering operational management and sales. Francis holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham, a PGCE from the University of Glasgow, and a BSc from the same institution.
