Joel Huang

Joel Huang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and product development. Currently serving as the Lead of Artificial Intelligence and Product at Bifrost since April 2021, Joel is a founding AI engineer dedicated to empowering AI developers in creating virtual 3D worlds for robust training of physical AI systems. Prior to this role, Joel worked as a Postgrad Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore, where responsibilities included developing on-prem software for live machine learning EEG analysis. Joel's experience also includes a tenure as a Research Associate at NVIDIA, where an AI Research Assistant application was designed to help researchers navigate extensive academic literature, as well as co-founding OpenSUTD, a community initiative. An internship at Singtel focused on computer vision research earned an internal case competition win and a top intern award. Joel holds a Master of Computing specializing in Artificial Intelligence from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
