Kai Wei Koh

Kai Wei Koh has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2015, they served as the Campus Lead for Microsoft Student Partners Singapore, where they organized Xbox events and promoted Microsoft's Dreamspark program. In the same year, they also became the Vice President and Secretary of SUTD Makerspace Club.

From 2016 to 2018, Kai Wei Koh was the Pioneer and President of What The Hack @ SUTD, organizing a successful hackathon with significant participation and funding. Kai Wei was also the President of the ISTD Student Council during this time.

In 2016, they worked as a Student Researcher at iTrust Center for Research Cyber Security @ SUTD, leading a team in developing a secure IoT certification standard and analyzing the effectiveness of fuzzers on IoT devices.

From 2017 to 2018, they served as a UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer at GovTech Singapore, working on projects such as Nectar and Aura.

Kai Wei Koh's most recent work experience includes being a Software Engineer at GovTech Singapore since 2018 and currently a Software Engineer at Bifrost starting from 2021. At GovTech Singapore, they contributed to projects like Singapore Design Systems, TraceTogether, SafeEntry, and CorenetX.

Kai Wei Koh received a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Technology and Design from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from 2015 to 2018. In 2016, they participated in the Global Leadership Programme - Summer Exchange at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying Mechanical Engineering. Before that, they obtained a Diploma with Merit in Information Security from Nanyang Polytechnic between 2009 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Kai Wei Koh has obtained several certifications.
