Yohei Abe

Yohei Abe has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several companies in various roles. Yohei (Yohhei) is currently a Board Member at the U.S. Japan Advanced Skill Training Center since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Accounting at Big 5 Sporting Goods starting in October 2022. Yohei (Yohhei) also served as Senior Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager at the same company from August 2019 to October 2022 and from October 2015 to August 2019, respectively. Before joining Big 5 Sporting Goods, Yohei worked as a Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst at Toyota Financial Services from May 2014 to October 2015. Yohei (Yohhei) also held the role of Manager Hulu Japan Finance at Hulu from November 2011 to April 2014, where they were promoted from the position of Accounting Manager. Prior to this, they worked as Manager International Accounting and Japan Interim General Manager at American Apparel from January 2009 to November 2011. Yohei also gained valuable experience as an Accounting Manager at Sony Pictures Entertainment from January 2007 to October 2008, where they were promoted from the role of Senior Financial Analyst. Yohei (Yohhei)'scareer began as an Auditor at PwC from August 2004 to November 2006. Prior to that, they worked in Global Logistics at Nortel Networks from April 1999 to October 2001.

Yohei Abe holds a BA in International Politics, Business & Economics from Aoyama Gakuin University and an MSc in Accounting from USC Marshall School of Business. Yohei (Yohhei) has additional certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the state of New York.
