Veer Chatrath is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in entrepreneurship and management. As Co-Founder of Big Bear Farms since September 2020, Veer has focused on delivering homemade farm fresh preserves across India. In parallel, Veer has served as a Senior Manager at BMC SAAS since February 2018, providing offshore business support services globally. Additionally, Veer co-founded The Alternate Terrain in August 2015. Previous roles include Finance Executive at Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd from January 2014 to January 2015, Finance Intern, and a Summer Intern at HSBC in 2012. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Business Management from the University of Exeter, completed in 2013, along with a High School Diploma from Calcutta International School and early education at The Lawrence School - Sanawar, India.

Big Bear Farms
At Big Bear Farms we grow, harvest and preserve fruit as our family has done for over three generations. We also source fruit from local farmers and all our team members live and work in our community. From strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, and apples to lesser knows varieties such as quince and nectarine – our home in Himachal sees a variety of produce over the year. Each season we pick the best fruit to make jams, jellies, and pickles.
