Daniel Bell is an experienced professional in network operations and technology management, currently serving as a Network Operations Manager at Safran since January 2019, and also as an Alpine Patroller at Big Bear Mountain Resort since November 2018. Previously, Daniel held the position of Terrestrial and Satellite Network Operations Manager at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, and served as Chief Technology Officer at both Architeqs and LondonLink Networks. Early career roles include positions at Mistral Internet as Chief Technology Officer and ALR Schweiz AG as Director of Technical Services. Daniel’s educational background includes an MSc in Advanced Networking from Open University, Advanced Computer Security from Stanford University, and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Saddleback College.

A single lift ticket provides access to both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, which are located just two miles apart, and connected via a free inter-resort express shuttle service. During the summer months, Big Bear Mountain Resort operates the Bear Mountain Golf Course and the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair, which provides access to SoCal’s best lift-served bike park, 60+ miles of cross-country single track biking trails, countless hiking trails, and the most scenic BBQ in the Big Bear Valley.
