Jim Breiter

Jim Breiter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim most recently served as the VP of Finance at Big Brand Tire & Service starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Tax at CentralSquare Technologies from April 2020 to November 2021. Jim also has experience in the automotive industry, having worked as the VP of Tax and Operations Accounting at Caliber Collision from April 2019 to March 2020, and as the Director of Tax & Accounting at ABRA Auto Body & Glass from July 2015 to April 2019. Before their time in the automotive industry, Jim worked in the financial services sector as the VP of Tax at both Winthrop Resources Corporation and TCF Equipment Finance from January 2005 to July 2015. Jim began their career in tax at Carlson Companies, Inc. as a Tax Manager from October 1998 to January 2005. Prior to that, they gained experience in tax at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Senior from December 1997 to October 1998, and at Grant Thornton LLP as a Tax Supervisor from October 1995 to December 1997. Jim started their career as a Staff Accountant at Halverson & Associates from July 1993 to October 1995.

Jim Breiter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis from 1988 to 1992. Jim then pursued a Master's degree in Business Taxation at the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 2002, with a focus on Tax. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1993, they attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and studied Accounting, although they did not complete a degree during that time.
