Asim Khan

Asim Khan is an experienced professional in institutional giving and grant writing with a strong background in nonprofit development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Institutional Giving and Senior Grant Writer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Asim has focused on writing grant applications for foundation and government donors since March 2019. Additionally, Asim holds the position of Pro Bono Director of Institutional Giving at Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, conducting prospect research and grant writing to support sustainable development and governance in emerging markets. Previous roles include Manager of Foundation Relations at Carnegie Hall, Development Associate at South Asian Youth Action, and various legal positions. Educational qualifications include a JD from Rutgers Law School and a BA in English with a Political Science minor from the University of Pennsylvania, along with multiple continuing education courses in the arts.
