Priya Singh has over a decade of diverse work experience. Priya began their career at Knowing Point, LLC as a Performance Consultant, where they focused on organizational development and conducted surveys for clients. Priya then moved on to The Internet Company, where they worked as a Verification Specialist, utilizing their customer service skills and mentoring new employees. Priya later joined Heart of Florida United Way as a Senior Crisis Specialist/Supervisor, managing crisis and suicide calls, conducting quality assurance monitoring, and creating schedules for call center employees. After that, Priya worked at FEGS as a Supervisor of Disaster Relief Services, overseeing the organization and launch of the Disaster Case Management program, managing cases, and supervising a team. Priya continued their disaster relief work at Catholic Charities Community Services Archdiocese of NY, where they provided training, oversaw case management, and conducted team meetings. Most recently, Priya served as Vice President of Corporate Engagement/Partnerships at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, where they led corporate engagement initiatives, generated revenue through partnerships, and delivered pitch presentations. Priya also held roles as Director of Corporate Engagement, Director of the Workplace Mentoring Group, and Associate Director of the Community Based Program at the same organization, demonstrating their ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility and deliver results.
Priya Singh has a solid educational background in the field of psychology. Priya completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University from 1999 to 2002. Priya then went on to pursue further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University between 2003 and 2006. Recently, in 2021, they also obtained a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
