Constance Carmona, M.Ed, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Constance has recently joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts as the Associate Director of Pathway Programs. Prior to that, they worked at MAYA Consulting as an Associate Consultant for two years. Constance also served as the College Completion Program Coordinator at Breakthrough Central Texas from 2016 to 2020. Their experience includes roles at Harvard University, where they worked as a Program Coordinator at The Harvard College Women's Center, Winter Housing Graduate Fellow, Interim House Administrator, Summer Proctor, and Student Activities Intern. Additionally, they held the position of Graduate Retention Fellow Career Services at Salem State University.
Constance Carmona, M.Ed has a Bachelor's Degree in Art/Art Studies, General and Psychology from St.Edward's University, which was obtained from 2004 to 2009. Constance also holds a Master's Degree in Education-Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University, completed from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, they pursued Professional Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education, focusing on Post-Secondary Success: In Schools, Communities, and Families. In 2020 to 2021, they furthered their education with a Professional Education program at Cornell University, specializing in Diversity and Inclusion.

For more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts has worked to ensure that every child has the support from caring adults that they need for healthy development and success in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 7 through high school graduation, in communities across Massachusetts Bay. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that their children will thrive. Here's the proof. National research has shown that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives. By participating in our programs, Little Brothers and Sisters are: -more confident in their schoolwork performance -able to get along better with their families -46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs -27% less likely to begin using alcohol -52% less likely to skip school.
