Kerry Mahony

Kerry Mahony is currently serving as the Senior Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts since June 2023, and previously held the position of Big Futures Program Coordinator. Kerry has diverse experience in education and healthcare, including a role as a Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University, Bouvé College of Health Sciences from September 2022 to June 2023, and as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at John Winthrop School for Young Children from September 2021 to June 2023. Additional roles include Campus Representative at Northeastern University, Socratic Summer Academy Teacher at Yleana Leadership Foundation, and Office Administrator at Northeastern University Speech-Language & Hearing Center. Kerry also worked as a Hearing Screening Coordinator at PEDIATRIX. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Northeastern University, supplemented by minors in Urban Studies and Psychology, completed in 2023.

For more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts has worked to ensure that every child has the support from caring adults that they need for healthy development and success in life. By participating in our programs, Little Brothers and Sisters are: -more confident in their schoolwork performance -able to get along better with their families -46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs -27% less likely to begin using alcohol -52% less likely to skip school.
