Enrique Davey

Enrique Davey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Enrique is currently working as a Program Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga, where they provide leadership to the Match Support team. Prior to this, they worked as a Match Support Specialist at the same organization.

Before joining Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga, Enrique worked at LocalAdventures as a Sales Executive. In this role, they advised national and international clients on international adventure travels and carried out additional responsibilities such as livestreams on social media and providing support to various departments within the organization.

Enrique also has experience in the tourism industry, having worked as a Tourism Promotion Executive at the Trust Fund for the Tourism Promotion of the State of Colima. Here, they were responsible for promoting tourism in the northern region of the State of Colima and providing operational support for travel and tourism events.

Enrique has also been involved in social entrepreneurship as a General Coordinator at Dry-Nergy, where they worked on dry toilets for households and neighborhoods without sewer systems. Their responsibilities included planning and execution of working plans, market studies, team coordination, and customer service.

Enrique's earlier work experience includes research assistant roles at the Universidad de Guadalajara, where they worked on research topics related to communication, information society, digital media usage, creative cities, non-state armed actors, and their relation to the international system, governance issues, and peacebuilding efforts.

Enrique has also worked as an Executive Assistant at the Regional Security Office of the United States Consulate General in Guadalajara, where they were responsible for researching and updating security situation reports, providing operation support and logistics, and administrative support.

Enrique has also presented an article on Hyper-Presidentialism in Latin America at the Latin American Political Science Association. Additionally, they have worked as a Sales Promoter at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and as a personal interpreter for a Brazilian author at the Ecos de la FIL event organized by the University of Guadalajara.

Enrique Davey completed their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs at Universidad de Guadalajara from 2011 to 2016. In 2015, they participated in the English Language and Canadian Culture Program as an International Student at MacEwan University. In 2014, they also studied as an International Student at Universidade Federal da Bahia, focusing on the Faculty of Social Sciences. Additionally, in 2012, Enrique attended Virginia Commonwealth University as an International Student with a focus on Atlantic Culture & History.

Enrique Davey obtained several certifications throughout their education. In 2013, they received the Portuguese Advanced Level Certificate from Universidad de Guadalajara. In 2012, they obtained the PLIDA B2 certification from Società Dante Alighieri. Lastly, in 2018, they achieved a total score of 633 in the TOEFL ITP exam, administered by The TOEFL® test.
