Lauren Laurore

Lauren Laurore, LCSW, has extensive experience in social work and program management. Currently serving as the Program Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island since May 2019, Lauren also provides therapeutic services as a Social Worker at Comprehensive Counseling LCSWs. Previously, Lauren held roles including Director of Programming and Community Engagement Coordinator at the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence from 2011 to 2019, and Youth Development Specialist at Family Service League of Long Island. Lauren began a career in youth counseling at the Boys & Girls Club between 2006 and 2011. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from St. John's University.
