Kate Rhodes

Kate Rhodes is an experienced professional in the field of development and fundraising, currently serving as the Manager of Individual Giving & Major Gifts at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago since September 2016. Previous roles include Director of Development at IC Catholic Prep, Vice President of Advancement at De La Salle Institute, and a series of advancement-related positions at Old St. Patrick's Church, where substantial capital and operating fundraising strategies were executed. Kate also has experience as an Assistant Director of Leadership Gifts at The University of Chicago and worked as an Associate at LatzBruni Partners, where major donor engagement and capital campaign strategies were developed. Kate began a career in development at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, supporting advancement initiatives and major benefactor relationships. Educated at Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, Kate possesses a robust background in cultivating donor relations and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
