Maribel Antunez-Uriostegui currently serves as a Bilingual Match Support Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago since May 2023. Previously, Maribel held several leadership and mentoring positions at Ohio University from January 2020 to May 2023, including President of the Latino Student Union, Peer Mentor for the Office for Multicultural Success and Retention, and Administrative Orientation Coordinator for Bobcat Student Orientation. Additional experience includes an Advocacy and Government Affairs Internship at Amnesty International USA in July and August 2022 and a Volunteer Internship at Southeastern Ohio Legal Services from September 2021 to January 2022. Maribel Antunez-Uriostegui earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Pre-Law), French, Linguistics, and Diversity Studies from Ohio University in May 2023 and completed the International Baccalaureate program at Campbell High School in May 2019.
