Jacob Peterson, CFRE, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area, Inc. since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the VP of Resource Development at United Way of South Hampton Roads from March 2020 to August 2023, and the Chief Development Officer and Development Director at United Way of Northern California from January 2017 to March 2020. Jacob founded the Junior Leadership Development Program in December 2011, which operates in multiple schools across Butte County and has positively impacted over 300 youth. Additional roles include Family Case Manager and Facilitator at Youth for Change, as well as Consultant at Neighborhood Connections. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from California State University, Chico.
