Essie North

Essie North is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in social impact and organizational effectiveness. Currently serving as CEO of Big Change since February 2014, Essie drives systemic change in education by collaborating with diverse stakeholders. In addition to this role, Essie is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Food Foundation. Previously, Essie held the position of Managing Director focused on redefining venture philanthropy and worked as a partner and independent consultant at Change Agency, assisting socially driven organizations. Essie also served as a senior consultant for European HR executives at CEB and led the Communications and Corporate Affairs practice during a tenure that included significant consultancy for major global corporations. Academic credentials include a BSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol and a qualification as a Business Coach from the Meyler Campbell Business Coach Program.
