Troy S. Thompson

Troy S. Thompson has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Troy S. is currently serving as the Executive Vice President/COO at Big-D Construction since January 2017. In this role, they oversee the development, acquisitions, new start-ups, and operations for regional offices in SLC, UT, and Park City, UT.

Prior to their current position, they worked at Okland Construction for seven years starting in March 2010, where they held the role of Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for business development, project execution for large construction projects, overseeing the estimating department, reviewing subcontractor financials, negotiating owner/contractor agreements, and managing operations and new employee evaluations.

From 2005 to 2009, Troy served as the President of Wasatch Development. Before that, they worked at Big D Construction as the Sr. Vice President from 1998 to 2005. Troy S. initially started their career at TCCI (Thompson Construction Company Inc.) as the Owner from 1994 to 1998. Lastly, Troy held the position of Project Manager at Okland Construction from 1977 to 1994.
