James 'Jay' Lewis

James "Jay" Lewis has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. James "Jay" currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Big Data Energy Services (BDES). Prior to that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and Chinquapin Preparatory School. James "Jay" also held the position of Governance Fellow at NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors). Lewis was a Member of the Board of Directors at Just Energy Group Inc and President and co-Chief Executive Officer at Just Energy. James "Jay" was also the Chief Operating Officer at Just Energy Group Inc, where they oversaw day-to-day operations and drove significant improvements in customer attrition and profitability. Additionally, Lewis served as a Member of the Board of Directors at ecobee and Just Ventures LLC. James "Jay" started their career as a Senior Vice President at ENERGY SAVINGS GROUP, INC.

James "Jay" Lewis has a strong educational background in both business and computer engineering. James "Jay" obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1993, after studying there from 1989 to 1993. James "Jay" further pursued their education at the same institution, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering from 1991 to 1993. Later, they attended NYU Stern School of Business where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from 1995 to 1997. This comprehensive education has equipped Lewis with expertise in both technical computer engineering skills and essential business knowledge.
