Terence O'Kane

Stage Manager / Production Specialist at Big Door Studios

Terence O'Kane has a diverse work experience history. Terence started their career in the film industry, working as a Production Assistant and Additional Production Assistant for Bonanza Productions and Pig Newton in 2013. Terence then worked as a Production Assistant for Repeat Offender Productions for a brief period in 2013.

In 2014, Terence gained experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Cater/Waiter at Great Performances and as a Waiter at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Terence also worked as a Host/Barista at Alices Tea Cup during this time. Additionally, Terence worked as a Butcher Department Assistant at Key Food Stores Co-operative Inc. in 2013.

In 2015, Terence joined HSC.TV as part of the Video Production Team, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience in video production.

From 2018 to 2020, Terence became a Freelance Video Production professional, taking on various roles including Camera Operator, AC, DIT, Audio Mixer, and Grip. Terence worked on several projects, including the 2019 Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, the 2018 Little League World Series, and the 2018 Scripp's National Spelling Bee, among others.

Most recently, Terence joined Big Door Studios in 2020 as a Stage Manager/Production Specialist.

Terence O'Kane began their education at Onondaga Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electronic Media Communications. After that, they attended the State University of New York at Oswego from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Screen Studies.
