Alexander Schmies currently serves as the Product Sales Manager for Renewable Energy at Big Dutchman International GmbH since August 2023. Prior to this role, Alexander worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at Stodia from January to August 2023 and as a Business Development Engineer focused on Hybrid Power Systems at VENSYS Elektrotechnik GmbH between November 2018 and December 2022. Alexander's engineering background includes positions as a Development Engineer at Enercon GmbH, where contributions were made in both power electronics development and during a master's program, as well as earlier experiences during a bachelor thesis and internships. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Wind Engineering from Hochschule Flensburg and a Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energies from Hochschule Bielefeld. Additional educational experience includes language training at the EF Executive Language Institute.
