BIG EAST Conference
Kevin Ivany is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in sports media. Currently serving as a Communications Assistant for the BIG EAST Conference since August 2017, Kevin covers major championships and honors student-athletes and coaches while managing the conference's website and creating graphic design assets. Previously, Kevin held the position of Interim Associate Director of Communications for men's basketball and men's tennis at the University of Miami, where responsibilities included managing media relations, overseeing student staff, and producing publications. Kevin's foundational experience includes roles at Cornell University and Columbia University, focusing on athletic communication and multimedia efforts, along with early work in customer service and lifeguarding. Kevin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Media from Ithaca College.
