Christen Westbury has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Christen started their career in 2010 as a Corporate Communications Intern at Discovery Communications. Christen then went on to work as a Public Relations Intern and later a Publicity Chair at Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In 2011, they also took on the roles of President at Black Communications Society and Mentor at C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Christen continued their education at Newhouse School, Syracuse University, where they pursued a Master's in Television, Radio & Film.
In 2013, Westbury joined Discovery Communications again as a Discovery Channel - Development Intern and later transitioned to the role of Commercial Operations Coordinator. Christen then moved to Hot Snakes Media in 2015, where they worked in various positions including Television Development Assistant, Story Producer, Development Producer, and finally as Director of Development.
Their most recent experience is with Big Fish Entertainment, where they started in 2019 as a Sr. Director of Development and currently holds the position of Vice President, Development as of December 2021.
Christen Westbury attended Syracuse University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising. In 2011, during their time at Syracuse University, they completed an additional Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the Syracuse University - S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Television, Radio, and Film.
