Jason Morgado has extensive work experience in the gaming industry, starting as a Hobby Store Specialist at Games Workshop in 2005. Jason later worked as an Illustrator for Fourth Way Comics, where they created original oil paintings for a full-color comic. In 2007, they became a Shift Supervisor at Ciao Bella Gelato.
From 2012 to 2013, Jason worked as a Meat Shop and Farmers Market Clerk at Prather Ranch Meat Company, where they educated customers about sustainable ranching practices and provided cooking advice.
In 2013, they joined Dexati as an Illustrator and Animator, creating assets and animations for apps and mobile games. Jason specialized in functionality and clear communication.
Jason then became self-employed as a Freelance Illustrator from 2007 to 2015, specializing in vector illustration for interactivity. Jason consulted with clients and created transparent and process-driven solutions for their visual communication needs.
From 2015 to 2016, Jason worked as an Instructor and Subject Matter Expert at the Academy of Art University. Jason developed and taught courses on interactive illustration, focusing on vector art, animation, and interactivity using Adobe Illustrator and Flash.
In 2015, Jason joined TinyCo as a Lead Artist, leading a team of 2D production artists to create assets for a builder game. Jason also worked with IP partners and collaborated with product and narrative teams to design content based on monthly themes and guest IPs.

Currently, Jason works as an Art Director at Big Fish Games, where they have been since 2023.
