Sr Director Of Client Engineering & Quality at Big Fish Games

Jim Annand has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jim currently holds the position of Sr Director of Client Engineering & Quality at Big Fish Games since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as Sr Manager, Kindle Reader Engineering from December 2014 to August 2020.

Mr. Annand has also spent a significant part of their career at Microsoft. Jim held multiple roles at the company, including Test Lead (Windows Client & Services) from December 2009 to December 2014, Software Design Engineer in Test (Windows Media & Windows Client) from March 2005 to December 2009, and Software Test Engineer (Windows Media) from July 2000 to March 2005.

Jim began their professional journey as a Software Test Engineer Intern at Microsoft in May 1999, focusing on Windows Media Server. Prior to entering the technology industry, Mr. Annand gained experience as a Biomedical Engineering Lab Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University from 1998 to 1999.

Jim Annand obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended St Joseph High School - Metuchen from 1992 to 1996 for their high school education. In addition to their formal education, Jim has also obtained several certifications, including "Becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt" from LinkedIn in March 2021, "Mental Health First Aid" from the National Council for Behavioral Health in December 2020, "Psychological Health First Aid for COVID-19 Online" from the American Red Cross in October 2020, "CPR/AED/First Aid" from the American Red Cross in September 2020, "Food Worker Card" from the State of Washington in September 2020, and "Bloodborne Pathogens Training" from the American Red Cross in October 2020.
