Yumi Okubo-Shuman

Yumi Okubo-Shuman is a seasoned localization and internationalization professional with over a decade of experience at Big Fish Games, currently serving as Senior Manager of Localization Operations since October 2010. Yumi has successfully defined and implemented localization strategies, managed vendor relationships, and established quality standards to optimize delivery. Prior roles at Big Fish Games included Localization Project Manager and Sr. Business Systems Analyst, where Yumi facilitated multilingual localization for over 17 languages and enhanced processes through AI integration. Earlier, Yumi contributed to Nintendo Software Technology as a Japanese Language Editor. Yumi holds a degree from the University of Washington and has completed additional training at General Assembly.
