Shivang Tripathi is a software engineer with experience in a variety of roles. Shivang began their career in 2015 as a Trainee at a Software Incubator, where they built a Pocket-like link repository system, wrote a PHP web crawler to fetch relevant data, and built a basic mario game. In 2017, they became a Robotics Trainer at KUKA Robotics, where they trained 15 faculties of Mechatronics department in Banasthali University for getting started with the Robot Operating System (ROS), conducted hands-on practice on the KUKA YouBot using the ROS framework, and solved the doubts and queries of the faculties regarding the ROS concepts. Shivang also completed a Summer Internship at KUKA Robotics, during which they optimized the communication interface of the KUKA YouBot by converting it to a wireless interface, removed the dependency on an external laptop and expensive NI myRIO for the implementation of the inverse kinematics (IK) pipeline, and documented the solutions of the commonly occurring issues with the KUKA YouBot. In 2017, they also became a Student Ambassador at AKGEC FABLAB. In 2018, they became a Research Intern at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they developed autonomous navigation capabilities on the Mobile Robotic platform, RoboMuse 5 using Robot Operating System (ROS), tuned the ROS Navigation Stack parameters to achieve smooth navigation in simulation and the real world, and integrated NVidia Jetson TK1 with RoboMuse 5 for running modern AI workload on the edge leading to faster SLAM and path planning. In 2019, they became a Software Developer at WORKlove and an OSS Contributor at Webhint - OpenJS Foundation. Additionally, they completed a four-week open source apprenticeship working on webhint, a linting tool for site accessibility, speed, security and more. Shivang also completed a twelve-week intensive full-stack developer training program for India's top software engineers at Pesto Tech, during which they built a real-time, multiplayer PacMan game with React, NodeJS and Socket. io. In 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Big Human.
Shivang Tripathi began their education in 2010, when they completed the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) - Indian Standard Class X Examination at City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Shivang then went on to complete the Indian School Certificate (ISC) - Indian Standard Class XII Examination at the same school in 2014. In 2016, Shivang obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2017, they obtained a Try Docker certification from Code School. That same year, Shivang earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. In 2018, they obtained a Robotics Software Nanodegree from Udacity and an AKGEC Skills Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer certification from AKGEC SKILLS FOUNDATION.
