Martha Jary

Martha Jary is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Portfolio Financial Controller at Big Ideas Group since August 2024, Martha specializes in financial analysis, investment monitoring, and deal support. As an Angel Investor with HERMESA since September 2023, Martha focuses on investing in exceptional female co-founded start-ups. Previously, as a CFO Partner at Scaleup Finance from September 2022 to August 2024, Martha assisted clients in automating and scaling their finance functions. During their tenure at Beacon from November 2020 to August 2022, Martha contributed to the completion of a $50 million Series B fundraising, facilitating significant growth. Martha's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Manager in the Banking and Alternative Finance sector at BDO UK LLP from September 2014 to November 2020, following an ACA training contract in financial services. Education includes completion of the ACA qualification with ICAEW and attendance at Norwich High School for Girls.
