Bella Rabinovich

Bella Rabinovich has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bella currently works at Big Reuse as a Human Resources Manager, starting in July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Big Reuse as a Project Associate from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Big Reuse, Bella worked at Housing Works as a Volunteer and Thrift Coordinator from September 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they provided administrative coordination and support for the volunteer program and thrift stores, maintained filing systems and records, and generated weekly and monthly reports.

Bella's previous experience includes roles at Wildlife Conservation Society as a Geographic Information System Intern from May 2017 to August 2017, at Wave Hill as a Senior Forest Project Crew Leader from May 2016 to September 2016, and at Downtown Pets as a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter from August 2015 to May 2016.

Bella also has experience with Wave Hill, where they worked as a Forest Project Crew Leader during the summers of 2013 and 2014. In this role, they educated and instilled a passion for science in a group of high school interns, facilitated a college class, and devised a plan for restoring a section of woodland.

Additionally, Bella worked at Wave Hill as a Forest Project High School Intern during the summers of 2011 and 2012. In this role, they took college classes on GIS and Plant Science, worked under the supervision of a crew leader to restore woodland, and learned plant and tree identification.

Overall, Bella Rabinovich has gained experience in human resources, project coordination, administration, environmental conservation, and pet care throughout their various roles.

Bella Rabinovich has a diverse educational background. Bella started their education at the High School of American Studies at Lehman College, where they completed their high school degree from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at SUNY Geneseo from 2011 to 2015. During their undergraduate studies, Bella majored in Psychology and Communication (Media track), with a minor in Environmental Studies.

Continuing their academic journey, Bella then pursued a Master's Degree at Miami University from 2015 to 2017. Bella specialized in Biology through the Advanced Inquiry Program at the WCS, focusing on advanced study and research in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Bella Rabinovich obtained several certifications. In November 2014, they became a certified Safe Zone Trainer through the Gay Alliance & ROC LGBTQ Resource Center. Later, in November 2016, they obtained a certification as a Citizen Street Tree Pruner from Trees New York. Finally, in July 2017, Bella became a certified Master Composter through the Queens Botanical Garden.
