Talina Mathews

Talina Mathews is a seasoned executive in the energy sector with extensive experience in financial leadership and regulatory policy. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Big Rivers Electric Corporation since August 2022, Talina has held significant roles including Director of State Regulatory Policy at Southwest Power Pool and Commissioner at the Kentucky Public Service Commission. Previous positions include Executive Director at the Kentucky Public Service Commission and Director of Member Services and Advocacy at the Organization of MISO States. Talina began a career in energy policy with the Governor's Office of Energy Policy and has also worked in various capacities at the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence. Educational background includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Berea College.
